~ Ferry leaves 7.30am ~
Port McNeill Canada Day Celebrations
Starts at 8 am with a Pancake Breakfast, followed by a Children’s Fishing Derby at the Port McNeill Harbour. The Port McNeill Airport will hold the Annual Canada Day festivities including Kid’s plane rides, cupcakes and Flying Show. Flag Raising ceremony at 11am.
Afternoon - Port McNeill Seaside Market and kid’s Games on the Harbour. More info in July’s Town Log or call 250-956-3131
Port Hardy Canada Day Celebration - Storey’s Beach, Port Hardy - Featuring a parade at 12 pm, followed by outdoor activities and displays, concession and kid’s games
Port Alice Canada Day Block Party, begins 9am with pancake breakfast at the Comm. Ctr. Parade at 11am from Ozzieland to the Comm. Ctr. Boat rides, games, and BBQ.
Alert Bay Canada Day: Ceremony and music at Gilbert Popovich Square start at noon with free cake and hot dogs.
Coal Harbour Canada day: The Community Club holds a Canada Day Pig Roast and Potluck at the ol Coal Harbour Comm. Ctr.. Music, balloons, face painting and human foosball. Everyone welcome.
Canada Day Sayward: Parade in village starts 11am to ball park where there will be games, races, FREE Salmon BBQ hosted by Greigs. Free Hot Dogs, Entertainment by “Kerplunk”. Beer Garden at Legion.
Duck Race Annual Fundraiser - Tsulquate River, Port Hardy, 11 am Proceeds benefit the Filomi Days celebrations. Ducks are on sale at many businesses and can be ordered by calling 250-949-8781.
